Oral Conscious Sedation

If you tend to reschedule your dental appointments out of fear, or you require multiple services that are to be performed in a single visit, we may recommend oral conscious sedation. Administered in pill form, the medication is taken at least one hour before your appointment so that it has time to take effect. Requiring no masks or IVs, this solution can be helpful for anyone who struggles to sit still for prolonged periods or who needs help to remain calm while receiving dental care. The effects do take time to wear off, so you’ll need to have someone drive you to your appointment and back home.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide is commonly used in both dental offices and hospitals as a mild form of sedation. Safe to use and highly effective, there are virtually no side effects. The fast-acting effects of the nitrous oxide and oxygen mixture allow Dr. Lee to administer treatment quickly while you remain calm and at ease throughout your visit. When finished, you will be free to resume normal activity immediately following your appointment, making it a worthwhile option should you struggle with seeing a dentist but desire regular oral healthcare.
