Why Did You Become a Dentist?

Dr. Lee always knew he wanted to become a dentist since he was in grade school. He would perk up whenever anything related to dentistry was taught in school and he was one of the few kids that loved going to the dentist!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, Ole Miss, he then attended their dental school (UMMC School of Dentistry), where he earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. He then went on to complete a rigorous general practice dental residency at University of Mississippi, too, helping strengthen his skills and further his knowledge.

Over the years, Dr. Lee has continued to expand his knowledge and stay up to date with the latest advancements in his field, taking courses offered by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and focusing on treating TMJ and facial pain.

Today, he is a proud active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

What Do You Like to Do at Home?

Dr. Lee grew up with his mother, stepmother, and father in a family with two other siblings, his sister, who is now an optometrist, and his brother, who is completing his studies to become a nurse practitioner. His wife, Cheryl, is a trained dental assistant at the office and regularly takes on different roles as needed. Together, they have three grown children, a digital art designer, pastoral assistant, and soon-to-be teacher, as well as three grandchildren!

In his free time, Dr. Lee loves collecting Star Wars memorabilia and building Lego sets. When he’s not spending time with his family, kids, and grandkids, he’s traveling or eating his favorite foods!
