Brenda, Office Manager

Brenda

Brenda has over three decades of experience in the dental field and graduated from the Dental Assisting School of Maryland. She enjoys being able to provide patients with the care they need and want, all while helping them feel comfortable and right at home the moment they enter the practice doors. She has completed training in dental sedation, business administration, and regularly stays up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.

Originally from St. Mary’s County, Brenda has been married for over 30 years and has three daughters and seven grandchildren. She enjoys going to her grandson’s football and baseball games and visiting family members who live throughout the East Coast. She’s also active in fundraising for a cure and research for the Dravet Foundation. An interesting fact about Brenda is that she’s a sports junkie and loves going to sporting events whenever she has the time.

Sharon, Front Desk

Sharon

Sharon is originally from Lexington, Kentucky and started her dental career over 40 years ago as a dental assistant. She loves getting to know every patient that visits the office and helping them with treatment planning and scheduling. Throughout her career, she has worked in all areas of dentistry and has even held educational events at local schools to teach children about the importance of good oral health.

Sharon moved to Jacksonville to be close to her son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. She loves spending her time outside of the office with family and friends and pet sitting, as well as visiting family in Kentucky. An interesting fact about Sharon is that she was a pit crew member for a professional drag race team years ago!

Samaa, Front Desk

Samaa

Samaa has several years of experience in the dental field and enjoys getting to meet and build lasting relationships with patients. She attended Keiser University and has experience in medical assisting and treatment coordination.

Originally from Orlando, Samaa comes from a family of four, including her parents and older sister. She also has a young baby girl that she loves spending time with. Passionate about makeup and social media, Samaa dreams of one day becoming a makeup artist. One interesting fact about her is that she can speak two different languages!

Elisabeth, Lead Dental Assistant

Elisabeth

After finishing her Dental Assisting Certificate at First Coast Technical College, Elisabeth went on to earn her Expanded Functions Certificate by taking additional courses at Fortis College. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients that feel scared and anxious get comfortable in the treatment chair by showing them that the team isn’t as scary as they may think!

While she doesn’t have any human children, Elisabeth does have a precious fur-baby who’s a German Shepherd named Winnie Mae. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee with Winnie, crocheting, reading, going to the beach, and shopping. A fun fact about Elisabeth is that when she was a child, she wanted to be a vet.

Stephanie, Dental Assistant

Stephanie has seen firsthand just how crucial dental health is for overall well-being, so contributing to it is very rewarding. Dentistry is always evolving with new tech and techniques, making it easy to stay engaged and keep her skills sharp. A graduate of SPCC/Academy for Dental Assistants, Stephanie has her Expanded Functions certification, the highest distinction a dental assistant can achieve.

Raised in a blended military family, Stephanie learned adaptability, commitment, and teamwork from an early age. Her father’s Air Force service instilled discipline and leadership, while her mother’s remarriage expanded her perspective on relationships. Now, she shares her life with her supportive fiancé and their two pets. Whether experimenting with flavors in the kitchen, playing sports, traveling, or gaming, she’s drawn to challenges that require problem-solving and collaboration.

Kalani, Certified Registered Dental Hygienist

Kalani

Kalani brings over a decade of experience to our team. She is a graduate of First Coast Technical College as well as Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she completed her associate in science in Dental Hygiene. One of her favorite parts of her career is helping her patients take different approaches to their home care that feel most sustainable for them so they can make realistic, lifelong changes to their oral health.

Originally from St. Augustine, Kalani has been happily married since 2016 and welcomed her daughter into her family in 2021. She also has two cats, Mittens and Marmalade. She has ridden Arabian horses her entire life and is a novice SCUBA diver, so you can always find her at beautiful springs around Florida. One interesting fact about her is that she was the recipient of the Swan Knowles Dental Hygiene Scholarship in 2015, which was designed to recognize students with high academic achievements.

Kelsey, Dental Hygienist

Kelsey

With over five years of experience in the dental field, Kelsey brings a unique set of knowledge and skills to our wonderful team. Kelsey worked as an orthodontic assistant for two years before deciding to return to school to earn her dental hygiene degree. Her favorite part about her job is how well the team at Total Dental Care: Tony Lee, DMD works together. Their camaraderie and teamwork helps everything go smoothly for both the rest of the team and the patients.

Originally from Cooper City, Florida, Kelsey is married and has two daughters with one more child on the way! She also has a crazy cat named Dusty! In her free time, Kelsey loves shell-searching on the beach and learning how to surf with her husband. An interesting fact about her is that she started learning ASL for her daughter about three years ago. She still has a lot to learn, but she’s able to communicate with her, which is the most important part to her!

Jailene, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jailene’s favorite part of her job is building relationships and bonding with our patients. She loves her role as an educator and empowering people while in the chair. She has a bachelor's degree in health sciences from the University of North Florida and her associate’s in dental Hygiene from Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Outside the office, Jailene loves spending her free time with her family and fiancé. She enjoys a good relaxing movie night as well as being outdoors on bike rides. She has a passion for mission trips and giving back to the community. For her, it would be a dream to use her hygiene skills and go internationally to help adults and children who don't have access to dental care.

Patricia, Registered Dental Hygienist

Patricia has been a part of the dental world for over 25 years. Coming to us all the way from Brazil, she has a degree in dentistry as well as a master’s and PhD in periodontics. She also speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese!

Patricia and her husband, James, have a beautiful family with three children (Esther, JP, and Yasmin) and their pet, Minnie. They enjoy spending their weekends together going to the parks and beaches, and they are active in the local Brazilian Christian church.

Cheryl, Administration

Cheryl

Cheryl brings over three decades of experience to our team and has been working with Dr. Lee for well over a decade! She’s a graduate of Southern University of New York, and before taking on an administrative role, she was an expanded functions dental assistant for several years. One of her favorite parts of her job is the patients. She’s had the opportunity to watch generations of families grow at Total Dental Care: Tony Lee, DMD, so to her, patients are like family.

Originally from Potter County, Pennsylvania, Cheryl is married to Dr. Lee. Together, they have three grown children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, baking, and traveling. An interesting fact about Cheryl’s life is that two of her daughters are twins.
